Has it really been 16 years since the Hedgehog with Attitude returned to make his debut onto the new Dreamcast at that time?
I remember that time with fond Nostalgia. That was when games weren't necessarily done as a rinse and repeat franchise unlike today, such as CoD. Never been a fan.
Sonic Adventure had the fluid and consistent pace during Sonic's story that kept me coming back for more as the months and years wore on.
Even to this day on the Xbox Arcade I'll go back to it when I don't find myself too satisified with the current crop of games.
I think the Dreamcast could have evolved with the next Generation that is the slowly outgoing Generation of the 360 and PS3. I don't see any reason why Sega could not have stayed in provided they could resolve their less than impressive financial situation.
I think my fave SA level is Emerald Coast. I could play that for ages and find something new to challenge myself with.
What do you remember fondly about Sonic Adventure?
